I’m Jenny, a fully qualified and insured traditional acupuncturist.  I studied at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading where I gained a BSc and a LicAc (License to practice acupuncture).  I am also a member of The British Acupuncture Council, the largest governing body for acupuncturists in the UK.

My interest in acupuncture began after having treatment myself and experiencing the profound affect it had on my wellbeing.  I wanted to learn more and share this powerful medicine with others, and after years of study it became my profession.

I have run busy practices in Oxford and Suffolk, where I treated a wide range of patients from different backgrounds and with diverse health issues. I have now settled in Hastings and look forward to building my practice here.

I have always been especially interested in the connection between our emotional health and our physical health – and this is something that Chinese medicine recognises as a major cause of disease.  The relationship between practitioner and patient is hugely important to me, and I like to take time to listen with compassion.

By practicing a combination of Five Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) I am able to work with a wide variety of patients and conditions.  I am especially interested in, and have treated successfully, patients with chronic ill health and complex conditions, such as autoimmune disease, insomnia, depression, anxiety, IBS, migraines and gynaecological issue. Symptoms are warning signs not to be ignored, and if we suppress them then over time deeper issues can develop, Chinese medicine works to find the root cause of illness which brings about much deeper healing and long lasting health.

I have young children and felt the benefits of acupuncture before, during and after my pregnancies.  I am enthusiastic about helping women on this journey too, from wanting to have a child, through to adjusting and then thriving once they are born.

Please do get in touch with me if you would like to know more about how acupuncture can help you.

Jenny is someone who makes me feel safe and cared for. I trust her and her skills. She is an excellent listener and has a gentle, approachable manner. I feel like she sees me as a “whole person” (body, mind, emotions, spirit) and her treatments reflect this. I am delighted to have found Jenny and highly recommend her. Just go and see her- you won’t regret it!”

  1. Apologies, I forgot to give symptoms. Wave of nausea from toes to top, sometimes sweats and dizziness. The nausea is the worst thing and happens at any time, in ved when I’m asleep, sitting down, driving, etc.
